Dahli Coles and Dameon Mitchell

Los Angeles-based designers Dahli Coles and Dameon Mitchell established their line of fashion accessories in 2002 with the goal of shattering notions of seasonal fashion ideas by creating timeless, innovative styles using recycled newspaper.

Using magazine covers, newspaper clippings, photos, comic strips and maps, the duo created a kind of historic wear that memorializes moments in the world, while still transcending time and place.

Dahli studied Fashion Merchandising at California State University, Northridge and combines her experience in sales and fashion management with Dameon's eclectic mix of carpentry experience and background in underground hip-hop and dance.

The partners have a deep appreciation for culture, history and personal style, which motivates the innovation of fashionable, one-of-a-kind designs, handmade to last with durable, water-resistant laminate.
