The first chimes her parents produced were just flattened beer bottles on a branch, but they were such a hit at art shows that they decided to pursue this wild idea. Over the next 40 years they diversified and perfected the art of wind chime making while also raising three daughters in the business. Two of their daughters- Donna and Roxy- came back to work for them and now head the business. In 2006 Roxy Chalfant graduated from the University of Georgia with a BFA. She soon found herself back at her parents’ business alongside her sister Donna. Roxy credits her parents for instilling in her the value of making a quality product that stands out in the market.
