When artist Valentino Llegada found a rusted fire extinguisher in his studio, he saw something beautiful in its weathered form. Cleaned up and hand-painted, it became the first of these lovely, one-of-a-kind vases. The striking, no-nonsense industrial design of the metal container nicely emphasizes the brushed contours of Llegada's richly colored paints. Filled with fresh cut flowers or propped on their own, these color-washed vases make a beautiful addition to any room. Handmade in Florida.

Valentino Llegada

Inspired by minimalist contours and industrial sculpture, Uruguayan artist Valentino Llegada first discovered metallic structures as an Academy of Fine Arts student in Montevideo. But like many successful artists, he's learned to temper his passion with philosophy: "Finding my life's passion was not my most significant discovery," he says.
