Out of the Woods

Reclaimed, artistically distressed lumber finds a new life framing your family snapshots. Artist Margaret Taylor salvaged these antique slats from crumbling buildings and remodeling projects and then transformed them into rustic frames that carry an authentic spirit of Americana. These rescued materials add a rustic touch to your treasured images, creating instant heirlooms of happy family memories. Handmade by artist Margaret Taylor in Georgia.

Sold individually. Because of the reclaimed nature of the materials, colors, and patterns will vary.

Margaret Taylor

Margaret Taylor's business of creating artful picture frames, mirrors, furniture, birdhouses, garden and wall art actually began as a hobby. Taylor gained experience and knowledge helping her father on house projects. She was inspired by the fundamental beauty of paint and texture, and she soon gained the confidence and ability to imagine and create anything. Her business, Dryads Dancing, is now in its eleventh year.

Taylor has recently started working with other artists and designers, such as Simone Wilson. The purpose of the business is to make art that is unique, affordable and available. collection
