Salvage-Yard Centerpiece
An industrial work of art, this reclaimed tool bowl features discarded screwdrivers, hammers, wrenches and whatever else artist Tammy Roy can get her hands on.
The discarded pieces are collected by the artist herself from various steel manufacturers before she arranges them and then welds them all together.
"I am literally inside of their dumpsters picking through and separating pieces that inspire me," Tammy says. "I never know what I'm going to come across, and as a result, I never know what it will ultimately transform into."
Perfectly pieced together, this salvage-yard centerpiece proves that beauty and inspiration can be found in the most surprising of places. Handmade in Wisconsin.

Tammy Roy
Tammy Roy hails from Stratford, Wisconsin, a town of 1,523 people. "My parents were, and still are, workaholics who owned several small businesses including a repair shop, school bus company, gas station, car wash and the list goes on," Tammy says. "Needless to say, my brother and I were forced into slave labor at a very young age and worked in the family businesses." See all creations.
