It's a cool idea. But it's too big and clunky. It's almost scary looking. Kind of a comic piece that you would pull out in the middle of a conversation as you open your mail....

Too chunky for a letter opener that sits on a dest. Also, that is a bit muchfor a letter opener. I have seen several neat ones that are much cheaper!

The railroad spike in a plain log is a non-sequitur, and I think this piece would end up just being a waste of space.
