Mesmerizing And Modern
A dizzy display of modern style and traditional craftsmanship, these spiral necklaces are handmade by artist Jay Bridgland, who first creates the glass disk with a 5000 degree torch and then sandblasts each one for a matte finish. These contemporary Pyrex disks are hollow and extremely lightweight but durable and shock resistant. These pieces are designed to create a modern look with the focus on the glass designs. Features Pyrex glass, sterling silver clasp and protected steel flex cord. Available in Brown & White or Black & White. Sold individually. Handmade in San Francisco.

Jay Bridgland
Jay Bridgland owns and operates Bridgland Studios, a glass art studio located in Oakland, California.
Jay was born in London, England, but moved to the United States in 1983. In addition to owning Bridgland Studios, Jay also teaches and heads the Glass Flameworking Department at The Crucible School of Fire Arts in Oakland, CA. Jay's drive for perfection of technique and his drive for development of style take him on an annual trek to the mecca of Italian art glass, the Venetian island of Murano, Italy to work with classical Italian glass maestros.
