presto clockby Milton Glaser
- the story
Time Will Tell
Awarded with the prestigious National Medal of Arts, graphic designer Milton Glaser is best known for his touristic t-shirts promoting affection for a certain East Coast metropolis—New York City.
Beyond his timeless "I Love New York" design of 1977, Glaser has recently veered into the business of time telling with this vibrant timepiece. Colored in a radiant primary blue, the face of this abstract wall clock subtly – and oh-so-slowly – changes appearances as the single red hand ticks forward to reveal white perforations. While it may not provide for exact time keeping, the clock offers ample of visual food for thought. Made in China.
