Comments about PORCELAIN TEA FOR TWO SET:

My wife LOVED it because she loves to drink tea, however, she decided that she would use as a decorative piece because it is such a unique and "uncommon" item.

Comments about PORCELAIN TEA FOR TWO SET:

I bought these as somewhat of a joke for my father in law who always requests 1/2 cup of tea with dessert but as soon as I received them I knew he would love them as much as I do! Not only is it adorable, and very functional but my daughter and her grandpa love sharing tea time together now. She too got just as big a kick out of them as we did. I will warn, the handles are a bit fragile but then again so is all porcelain.

Tea for two is even more delightful than before with lovable cups and saucer set. Who would you like to share a cup of tea with?

I LOVE IT. But I will NEVER buy it because it is made in China.

It doesn't seem like you end up with enough beverage. Plus how often are you drinking tea/coffee with your significant other?

      Barbara
      Vote: Thumbs down!

Not enough tea for me. Cute design, but I feel like the water or tea would spill when pouring into the cups. Not something I would purchase for myself or even as a gift.

I really love the concept. I used to play tea party with my dad all the time when I was little and this might be a cute gift for a little for a little girl or a special loved one. Also, the "Made in China" controversy is something that is wrong, how many products do we buy that are made in foreign countries? The computers or other gadgets that we're producing these comments on are all foreign made. So don't put down a lovely product because you're angry about something so petty.

Cute idea, but manufacture it here, not in China.

Nothing uncommon about consumer goods made in China

      love it...

Beyond silly. The portions would be small.

      Paige
      Vote: Thumbs down!

Too small, and the whole concept is lost once someone takes a sip of their drink..leaving you with nothing more than a small cup. Plus, made in china..not so good.

More cheesy dust collector junk. And also from China.

I want my own full cup. So does my partner. Lots of margin to spill as it not round so you might not set it down well. Not practical at all.

Very cute novelty gift for Valentines day, just don't think it's that practical.

      Pamela

      Too cutesie and impractical

perfect for just 'a spot of tea' or for 'half a cup' of coffee... the possibilities are endless.

      Krista
      Vote: Thumbs down!

This might be OK if one was a righty and one was a lefty. If both are righties, it will be very difficult to drink out of the straight part without spilling. and who only wants a half a cup of coffee/tea anyway?

      Rebekah
      Vote: Thumbs down!

I like the idea, it's just that with pouring tea, I could see it spilling everywhere...

      Peter
      Vote: Thumbs down!

      cute.....but silly

      Barbara
      Vote: Thumbs down!

Unless you drink from the flat side (which would create a dribble) you would have to use both mugs with the left hand.

Their is a limit to my closeness...and that limit is sharing a cup of coffee.

cute idea...sure have to be "close" for that cup of tea!!!

I don't care what Country these products we vote on come from. They must be of good quality. People really need to stop complaining about these non-USA products. Do you have to put only tea in these or can you put in coffee? Can you put in one half coffee and the other half tea? I love these cups.

      Think it's useless and gimmicky

      susan
      Vote: Thumbs down!

each cup 4 oz capacity? that's not an amount large enough to gauge sugar, milk, cream, etc. Each half is too small. Nice idea, but I'd never buy it for myself or anyone else.

      Margaret

      Silly!

Unless you're left handed it seems as if it would be difficult to drink from. The concept is cute though.

most people are right handed so drinking from the flat side would be tricky.

Most people are right handed so the design would have you drinking from the flat side - a little tricky...

      Ruth
      Vote: Thumbs down!

If I am right handed I cannot hold the mug and drink from the rounded side of the mug can I ? It appears to me that I would have to drink from the straight edge and be worried about spillage . Or drink from a corner????

I wish it held more than 4 oz, but it's a cool idea.

Don't know where to start. Drinking tea should be in circular harmony, not cut in half.

We're so happy to hear that this set reminds you of tea time with dad, Elinore! Thanks for sharing this thoughtful feedback with us.

4 oz capacity? Way too small! We prefer that Big Guzzle size.

I think this is sweet, I could see myself giving this as a gift. Also, for the special morning "coffee time" with my own kiddos, this would be a fun.

Not necessary- not compelling enough to spend money on it.
