Influenced by tromp-l'oeil and early still life paintings of fruits, these porcelain pea pods and borlotti bean sculptures demonstrate the beauty of organic forms and the allure of natural details.
Perfectly proportioned and complete with tiny imperfections, these sculptures by artists Lorraine Taylor and Nicky Smart are hand molded from real garden-grown beans and peas. The artists then create and apply their own glazes, capturing texture, color and blemishes. Handmade in England. Sold separately.
