Here's looking at you, kidney.

It takes a lot of guts to share what you've got going on inside, but these plush pals give tough topics—from sickness to surgery—a soft touch. Wendy Bryan, an anatomically obsessed illustrator who loves internal organs and all their functions, organ-ized this charming line of stuffed guts that are designed to keep things light.

While each organ makes a great substitution for a get-well card, these adorable innards are also the perfect pals for pediatricians, psychologists, and surgeons to prop in their offices or waiting rooms to help ease the tension for patients of all ages. In your home, each personality-packed toy can also give even the littlest pre-pre-med student a jump-start. No matter how you use them, these squishy anatomical specimens will leave you in stitches. Designed in California. Made in China.

Comments about PLUSH ORGANS:

purchased the brain as a santa gift for my husband's Christmas party. he is an i.t. tech and i am sure this will be the talk of the department come Christmas time. additionally i was struck by how well made it was. not like something made cheaply in another country. the material was soft and the stuffing was actually fluffy-ish, not hard styrofoam pellets. would be an odd gift, but seems to even be child friendly.

I received the stuffed gallbladder as a gift from my boyfriend right before I had surgery to have mine removed. It was such a cute idea and it really made me laugh. The plush gallbladder is really well made and really cute. As odd as it seems, it was a great gift.

I got this for my sister right before gallbladder surgery and sent it to her as a surprise. She loved it! It made her laugh really hard and I got an excited thank you along with this "You don't know you need a stuffed gall bladder until you have one."

Very satisfied with how soft and adorable this little guy is.

This was a Get Well gift I presented to my wife after surgery. The various organs is a novelty that most have not seen or ever heard of before. Great for jokingly(yet in a caring way)to send get well wishes to someone who has a medical issue or is associated with the medical industry.
We sent the plush version of a gallbladder (with a smiley face)to my brother-in-law and put it in a jar wrapping it in foil so he doesn't know what kind of gallbladder he is actually receiving. Lot's of fun.

This was the perfect "gift" for my wife who just had surgery. It was exactly as the picture but was bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. The expedited shipping was my only complaint. I paid a little extra to have it rushed but it still showed up a day later than I expected. Other than that, the item is great. The fallopian tubes are wires underneath so you can move them and the ovaries into different positions which makes things pretty humerus.

                        Service and delivery comments:

I rushed the delivery here but I feel like it was still a day later than I expected.

These plush pals give you an inside look at cute and cuddly. Would you gift one to show someone you love them for their smarts? Would you give someone your heart? Show them you're two of a kind? Or let a gal pal know you're up for a girls' night out? Which organ is your favorite?

seems to be in rather poor taste. I just do not think that a 13" replica of a uterus is sell-able.

I think they're a riot. However, I'd probably give one to a doctor of that organ variety if I knew one. But I don't. So, I wouldn't say they'd be a GREAT item to carry because you'd be limited in who would appreciate them--although pre-med students might. It takes a unique kind of humor--that I have--I just don't know an appropriate recipient.

Good idea, Andra. A stomach could be great for teaching kids about healthy eating. What other designs would you like to see?

I'm not sure why a kid owuld want to play with an organ...!

These are hilarious! I'm not currently a patient (thankfully!) or in the medical field, but as a "happy dork" I appreciate the cute factor and off-beat humor. And if you like these, check out the Giant Microbes, too! :)

These are cute.. Kids need to learn about how to take care of themselves... might be a good learning tool to help them take better care of their bodies.
