Here's looking at you, kidney.
It takes a lot of guts to share what you've got going on inside, but these plush pals give tough topics—from sickness to surgery—a soft touch. Wendy Bryan, an anatomically obsessed illustrator who loves internal organs and all their functions, organ-ized this charming line of stuffed guts that are designed to keep things light.
While each organ makes a great substitution for a get-well card, these adorable innards are also the perfect pals for pediatricians, psychologists, and surgeons to prop in their offices or waiting rooms to help ease the tension for patients of all ages. In your home, each personality-packed toy can also give even the littlest pre-pre-med student a jump-start. No matter how you use them, these squishy anatomical specimens will leave you in stitches. Designed in California. Made in China.

These plush pals give you an inside look at cute and cuddly. Would you gift one to show someone you love them for their smarts? Would you give someone your heart? Show them you're two of a kind? Or let a gal pal know you're up for a girls' night out? Which organ is your favorite?

These would be fun in a pediatrician's office!
Piggles
These would be GREAT in hospital gift shops.

Trust me here, these are the best! I am a hospital admin manager for women's health research and we've adopted the Uterus as our mascot. The organs are a total hit around the hospital and are catching on in the community! They make fantastic gifts. Love, love, love I Heart Guts!

I love the use of anatomy, art and humor to help educate the world about our bodies and how they work. Fun for the whole family!

Yes! I bought the kidney for my friend who had just donated one to his mother..it made his day and he still has it on display at his house! When "urine love..." this is a great present!

seems to be in rather poor taste. I just do not think that a 13" replica of a uterus is sell-able.

I happened to buy the brain recently-my friend's (who know me as the medical one in the group) are still super jealous. Excellent buy!

I've known about the Guts for a long time. And have loved them. They just make me happy, and I wonder why they are not in every hospital gift shop, or in every toy store. They are great.

I'm an enthusiastic Uncommon Goods customer, and I think the I Heart Guts plushes are a great fit with the store! I am particularly enamored of the uterus...

I just don't think it would be appealing to a wide variety of people..maybe folks in the medical community or some pharmaceutical company as give-a-ways
Beth
Vote: Thumbs up!
$20 is pushing the high side.
Katherine
Vote: Thumbs up!
I would definitely buy these. They'd be great as "get well" presents for those in the hospital, or great as educational toys for kids.
Elizabeth
Vote: Thumbs up!
I would love to give these toys to my little one. They look like a fun way to teach and learn about science and anatomy.

Fun gift for some organ donors, -ectomy patients, or those "if I only had a brain/a heart" folks you know!

I can see the novelty behind these items; what bothers me is that they are made in China. Come on Uncommon Goods, Made in America!!
Kim
Vote: Thumbs down!
I could see these stupid things hanging around in my doctors office! Who wants to be reminded of that? Just a thought, it should indicate if the cost is for the set or an individual.
Paige
Vote: Thumbs up!
love these especially being in the medical field, but a little expensive.

If there was a large intestine available, it would be the perfect gift for a friend. I love them.
Christie

Love the kidney.
Chad

Too pricey for each one. They are a great idea but I wouldn't pay $20 apiece for them. Maybe $20 for a pair.

I don't know about the uterus, but I love the heart and brains. I know it's not an organ, but I think there should be a spine.

I bought the heart from "I Love Guts" when my father-in-law had bypass surgery. It was the perfect gift to make him smile. I am looking to buy another one for a child who is ill. I think these are a no brainer for you to carry!
John
I love the playful designs---I would sell a kidney for these!
Kyna
Vote: Thumbs up!
I am a medical student and I see residents all the time wearing organ pins not unlike these plush organs. I think there could be a market for some of these. I agree that I would prefer the price to be a little lower... They remind me of the giant microbes, which are much more affordable at $8 a pop.

Ok for docs and surgeons, general public not so much

My sister needs a kidney. Perfect!

Vote: Thumbs down!
I think they're a riot. However, I'd probably give one to a doctor of that organ variety if I knew one. But I don't. So, I wouldn't say they'd be a GREAT item to carry because you'd be limited in who would appreciate them--although pre-med students might. It takes a unique kind of humor--that I have--I just don't know an appropriate recipient.

Silly and fun, these cute plushes are a great way to teach children about their bodies without the "ick-factor".

Vote: Thumbs up!
I think these plush organs are really cute, wish they had more of a variety. I don't know about $20 a pop though, maybe 2 for 20 or something like that and i'd definitely get them.

Uterus is too much. The others are cute.
Laura

Might be a tad too expensive if they ate $20 each. Better price might be $10.

There should be a reason option for "Too silly". Also, can we stop the Chinese goods and concentrate on fine quality handmade items that I expect from Uncommon?

They look so tacky and weird. I have a pretty good and odd sense of humor, but even I could only see these is in a children's doctor's office. and even then, they'd take some explaining.
Romulus
Vote: Thumbs up!
A little too expensive. Maybe $20 for the set? Or buy more than one and save? I just wouldn't spend $20 on a small stuffed brain . . .
Kali
Vote: Thumbs up!
It would be a great tool to help teach your children about the human body.

Alisa
These are hilarious! I'm not currently a patient (thankfully!) or in the medical field, but as a "happy dork" I appreciate the cute factor and off-beat humor. And if you like these, check out the Giant Microbes, too! :)
