Air drying your laundry is easy, good for the environment, and costs you nothing to do but not everyone has the space or desire to set up a permanent clothes line in their back yard.

This sleek, retractable clothesline lets you pick the most convenient spot for your drying, and disappears out of your way when you don't need it. The cable housing and lock plate have a sleek, white plastic exterior, with a sturdy, aluminum interior structure, and can be easily mounted to any finished or unfinished wall with the included screws. The cable extends up to twelve feet, and its end tab slips securely into the opposing lock plate. It can hold up to 20 pounds of damp laundry, and the cable housing has a tension lock that keeps the cord from sagging. When your laundry is done, the cable retracts at a gentle pace to prevent injury or damage. Made in Japan.
