Delighterrific Wordoodles

Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words, but with these wacky puzzles, a picture's worth a single, mashed-up word, a thousand chuckles, and several good-natured groans. In PhenomeNonsense, you are presented with a small deck of cards, each one illustrated with a surreal image that mashes together two different things. The fun is in trying to guess what new word is created by smashing the overlapping sounds of those objects' names. For example, a picture of a rain storm where the raindrops are mathematical buttons is a...."calculatorrent"! Answers are printed on the back of the cards--but don't flip them over too fast, because puzzling through them is half the fun. A great for developing creativity and lateral thinking, it makes a memorable icebreaker at parties, and is fun to share with others once you know the answers yourself. Comes packaged in a metal tin. Made in California.

    Comments about PHENOMENONSENSE PUZZLE CARDS:

These cards are amusing when you are tired of the same-old. The visual/verbal puzzle gives your mind a little workout, and each card has cute drawings.

I think of this as more of a coffee-table book than a game. Less excitement, more charm. :-)
