Original Offerings

Buying a wedding gift off the registry is fine, but for someone special that doesn't always cut it. Why not leave the toaster ovens and immersion blenders for office acquaintances, and give your loved ones something they can truly cherish? Submit the bride and groom's names and the wedding date, and Burlington will hand-stamp them on a white earthenware vase with a heart-shaped locket and key. It's beautiful all on its own and perfect for holding letters from well-wishers, then organizing thank you notes. All after the honeymoon, of course. Hand-stamped and painted by Sheree Burlington in New Hampshire.

Sheree Burlington

Sheree Burlington opened Museware Pottery in the summer of 2005. Her work is playful and fun with a bit of attitude and a look that's all her own. Inspired by mixed media collage and vintage-looking rubber stamps, each piece is hand stamped (She carves her own) and painted with unique images, words and phrases that range from witty to inspirational.

Burlington began her career in 1985, designing interiors and kitchens. But the real fun began in 1998, when she began frequenting a local pottery studio to paint unfinished pottery. This hobby progressed into a full-time love and job, and in 2002 she and friend Ricci Allard opened "You're Fired - Paint Your Own Pottery and Mosaics." After they opened three more sister stores, Burlington set out on her own to start Museware Pottery, which is located in a historic mill in downtown Manchester, New Hampshire. collection
