Luck Be A Locket

Artist Stacey Lee Webber takes familiar materials and transforms them in imaginative and unexpected ways, turning common currency into stunning, wearable accessories. To create this copper necklace Stacey sculpts a stack of plain pennies into a convex bezel that opens to reveal the graphics found on every common cent; the Lincoln Memorial and Honest Abe's noble countenance in striking profile. The artist's metalworking expertise is displayed artfully in this unique locket where the front penny is gently curved to provide a spacious cap for tiny take-along items like aspirin or earring backs. Pinch this penny-decked piece to add a piece of Americana, and a little luck, to your decolletage. Handmade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
