This plump penguin accessory is sure to sweeten up any outfit as he waddles into your heart. Trained as an architect, Kathleen Mattingly Dautel fuses techniques from her profession with her expert knowledge of metalsmithing to craft this adorable arctic bird. Each stainless steel pendant is first drafted on the artist's computer and then laser cut. She then hand-files and sands edges to give each piece a smooth finish and a polished appearance. The wings and belly are then filled with epoxy resin, bringing each tuxedoed bird to life. Handmade in Raleigh, NC.
