A Stitch in Time
These vibrant cloth totes are a celebration of color and pattern. Designer Nicole Sanders pieces them together from a carnival assortment of bright, 100% cotton swatches. And the party continues inside, because each bag is completely reversible, giving you a double set of colors to play with. The bag's inside contains a single, roomy compartment, with a pocket on the outside (or the inside, depending on how you are displaying it). Whether you're toting your daily essentials, groceries, picnic provisions or baby supplies, you'll be carrying some extra cheer with you. The bags share a particular color pallet, but each one contains a unique combination of fabrics, making each a one-of-a-kind creation. Handmade in Chicago, IL.

I'm sure the high price is for labor rather than materials, but once the artist can find out a more efficient way to produce these, I'm sure she will find an audience, although they are not my taste.

Its a lot cheaper to buy the materials and make it yourself. If you make it yourself than you'll be able to choose the fabric and fabric patterns. Don't forget a lot cheaper this way.
