San Francisco artist Cindy Ng got into art because she had a creative vision that she wanted to share with others. She chose origami as the theme for her jewelry line because it was an idea she grew up loving and wanted to explore it further. "Origami is a rare art form that lets me utilizes both my right and left brain," says the artist. "It is logical and also beautiful."
Cindy describes her work as logical, interesting, engaging and meaningful. Each piece is a tiny silver sheet that is folded just like a piece of paper would be, which takes lots of time management, organization and attention to detail.
The main concepts she features are about creating and wishing for a life full of wealth, health, love and happiness.
"I love these concepts because I wish for them myself," Cindy says. "Whether or not my dreams come true is a different story, but so far everything I've wished for has come true and then some."
Cindy believes it's a gift to be able to live her life as an artist. When she's not creating jewelry she enjoys swimming, talking, writing, drawing, dreaming, eating, reading, and more dreaming.
