A notebook is an important element to a student. It can also come in handy for work, as a diary, or just to keep track of daily reminders. How would you arrange the elements on this notebooks clever cover?

Fun idea, however I wouldn't pay $20 for it.

For $20 it's not really worth it

I've seen this on kids shoes and bracelets for years. It isn't uncommon or unique and frankly it looks cheap. Even the binding for the book is bad. those things break really easily when handled by anyone under 12.

The perforated cover reminds me of Crocs and the "elements" remind me of those Crocs trinkets. Pass.

Doesn't make any sense based on elements and it looks cheap

I'm sure the pieces would fall off and get lost and that binding looks horribly cheap and won't last.

It'll take about six minutes to start losing all those tiny pieces.

Thought this was cool but the price is too high. Also, not sure how well the elements will stay in when caring around.
Janet

Seems expensive unless you can reuse the cover and there is somewhere to store the pieces

TINY parts for children!! Even 4 years old, not good! On top of that it's made in China. It also has that horrible old spiral binding. This can't get worse!!

Too many small pieces. Surely would get messed up in a backpack.

Clever idea in theory, but I can imagine pieces, pieces everywhere!

In theory this is a good idea, especially since you can constantly change out the pieces, but in reality I feel this wouldn't stand up to a kid's abuse. If the binding is cheap plastic so the user can add more paper to it that is one thing, but if not it just looks horrible. Also, there is nothing elemental about the characters and I feel like they would pop off and get lost really easily.

Kids (and let's be honest, adults too) tend to lose things. I'd like to see an option to buy replacement element packs. I would even like to see additional, alternative or custominzed element packs.

The binding is yucky.

Too many parts to lose.

nice idea, but I could totally see those pieces falling off in a backpack and getting lost. If the kids are gentle with it, maybe they'll stay on, but most kids really aren't gentle with the stuff in their backpacks. I know I wasnt lol. and for that price, its not really worth losing those pieces.

Very cute idea, but a little pricey for a non-refillable notebook.

My niece would like this but I'm sure all the pieces would be lost in no time. Hopefully it comes with a packet that you can keep with it instead of something you throw away. Ugh make this stuff in the USA people!

My kids would love this, however for it to work in school they would need a few modifications: 1) Standard 8x10ish size of regular school notebooks 2) perforated pages so they could tear out assignments cleanly and (for the mother) 3) refillable, so that the nifty cover isn't useless when the pages are through.

Thanks for all of the feedback, folks! Voting is almost complete on this nifty notebook, but we just wanted to answer a few questions. It does come with a plastic zipper pouch to hold the elements you aren't using. Also, the binding is made from a recycled plastic, so it is sturdy and can support the recycled rubber cover.
