I really like these, but that being said I'm from NY. I had moved away from NY and recently have moved back. These probably aren't earrings I would wear in NY (just as I don't wear my I Love NY shirt) but if I left again (which I probably will) I would DEFINITELY wear these. What can I say? Seems like it would only be of interest/identifiable to people living there. (I guess it's a high population area, though.) If I saw someone wearing them, they would just look "city", not place-specific.

I like these earrings but for most girls we wear our hair down and so the earrings would not be seen. If the earrings would be seen most people would not know what they were supposed to be, maybe if the design had more detail.
