Drink In the City

The gritty metropolis of New York City has never looked so delicious. A celebration of the city's iconic skyline, these glasses capture the energy of the Big Apple in bright neon colors and pop art shapes and textures. Each glass in the set evokes the landmarks of one of the city's boroughs, from the green expanse of Central Park in the middle of Manhattan, to the iconic Brooklyn Bridge. Each one is printed with bright organic inks. Made in Los Angeles.

Comments about NEW YORK CITY BOROUGH GLASSES - SET OF 6:

I did not like that you can't put them in the dishwasher. They were perfect for friends of ours who just purchased a place in the Burroughs .

As New Yorkers, we may be partial to this design, but we hope folks across the country will want to celebrate our city with this bold glass set. Do the New York Borough Glasses have your vote?

Limited appeal...no interet for me in TX..

Don't like having to hand washing these glasses.

I like the colors, but I am not from NY and neither are my friends or family.

Lina
Vote: Thumbs up!

Love the colors and design. Would like to own them even if I had not spent some great times living in NYC after college.

Karen
Vote: Thumbs down!

Can't put them in the dishwasher - otherwise they are cute

They might be more popular if other states could choose their cities, why have only NYC?

Cassie, UncommonGoods

What other cities would you like to see?

Jay

I like the idea. How about glasses for all major cities? I would buy one for each city in have lived in: Detroit, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia.

They're cheesy. And if you don't live in NY I don't think anyone would care.

Jennifer

I love the look of these but, like most other people, I wouldn't buy them since I have no personal ties to NY. I love the idea of different major cities like my city of Los Angeles (ahem, they are made here I see).

David

I'd buy them for the right gift or even for myself. Well done.

Love these, but NOT the hand wash...I still give it a thumbs up

How soon will you have these? Can't wait to buy for former NY friends! A little water never hurts!

Perry

having visited NY from Australia would live these

Regan

Would love to see other areas too...DC metro, perhaps? Also, Long Island!

Joan

I live in Massachusetts. Huge Yankee fan! Would by these in a heartbeat!

I would not hesitate to buy these, they're fun, brigh colored and remind me of my very favorite city in the world - NYC.

I love them and I want them, but I can't be bothered with hand washing; that's a dealbreaker. And yes, I realize that better designs are available when you are willing to hand wash. i will live without these better designs to save time. If this were available in dishwasher-safe form, I'd buy at a premium, for sure. But as it is, nope. Sorry!

Love the colors and imagery. They'll make great gifts for people visiting NYC, or those who have lived here all their lives!

Elinore
Vote: Thumbs up!

This looks like a great gift for any recent NYC transplant or for any housewarming gift.

Jennifer
Vote: Thumbs down!

I would like it better if it didn't have the names of city's on them

Yes! Yes! Yes! I will buy these if you carry them. I was born and raised there and I love anything that specifies the boroughs.

Brian
Vote: Thumbs down!

Great if you live in New York City and don't own a dishwasher.

Tammy
Vote: Thumbs up!

As a fan of NYC and the boroughs, I think these would make for tasty beverages. I got a chuckle that the New York glasses are made in Los Angeles :)

Nicole
Vote: Thumbs down!

No ties to NY. How about St. Louis?

Lisa
Vote: Thumbs down!

Not everyone lives in NYC.

Donna
Vote: Thumbs down!

Graphics are just too generic. Not that appealing.

Barbara
Vote: Thumbs down!

Hand wash? Too much upkeep.

I'm a native New Yorker, and even I can't figure out what most of these glasses are supposed to be showing. The only one that's obvious is the Brooklyn Bridge one. I needed the description on the product story to figure out that the Manhattan glass is supposed to represent Central Park. I still have no idea what the Bronx is supposed to be, and I've lived in the Bronx since I was five. The designs are far too abstract to be enjoyed. They all just look like random colored rectangles.

Oh Please, please, please carry these - I want these in the worse way! Guess you have to be a "New Yorker" to get it - but they are wicked great - I would but them for everyone I know -so I hope you have them available soon - especially in time for Christmas. PLEASE!!!!
