We need to keep the air cleaner! Plus if it gets rid of allergens-well that's priceless. And it's not that pricey either. Does it have an odor to it? How many months does it last?

To answer the second part of your question, it lasts two years. Each "charge" lasts about a month, so just place it in direct sunlight for an hour or so once every 30 days and you're set for another run of natural freshness!

Normally I'm a bit isolationist when it comes to buying products from China, but this one is a different story. Bamboo charcoal is something they use themselves. My understanding is that it balances out the humidity on a room as well. Well worth the $10 on a hot, sticky day. (Although there are a gazillion uses for this product, I think this would be a terrific gift for new parents. They could drop it into the bottom of their babies' diaper pail:)
