A Fat Cat For Coins

For cat lovers, no ordinary pig-shaped bank will do. Mr. Chubbles is a cute solution for stowing your loose change. His features are delightfully crafted, with coin slot and tail on the back of the bank. When Mr. Chubbles gets full, you can cash-in by removing the rubber stopper in his base. Handmade by potter JoAnne Stratakos in her Pocono Mountain studio, these pottery banks are crafted of tough, serviceable stoneware and dipped in custom, lead-free glazes. Handmade in Effort, PA.

Exclusively at UncommonGoods.

Much thought and years of experience go into each piece of pottery by JoAnn Stratakos. All pieces are original designs created and produced exclusively by the artist in her studio in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania. They are made of stoneware clay, which has splendid serviceability and resists chipping. Each piece is hand-dipped in glazes that JoAnn has formulated. Hand-dipping requires more time than spraying, but gives each piece subtle variations and its unique character. The color and shapes are designed to compliment, not compete, with your decor and the foods being served.
