Ebb & Flow

Evoking serene and ancient landscapes, artist Meirav Gebler's original painting captures environmental elements in the abstract. In this print reproduction of Gebler's watercolor artwork, flowing penned lines are complimented with gray, blue, and orange accents. Bring this meditative painting to your home to spark lively dinner conversation.

Printed and framed in Oregon, Gebler's Mountains series is inspired by the ridges of the Puerto Rican rainforests. Each painting explores chaos and order through the spontaneous reactions of gunpowder with watercolors. Made in the USA.

Meirav Gebler

Meirav is an artist on an adventure. After graduating from University of Michigan's Penny W. Stamps School of Art & Design in 2012, she spent half the year traveling the world, soaking up inspiration from all the colorful lands and people she met along the way. She is now based in Brooklyn, creating her own worlds inspired by memories of her travels and everyday experiences living in NYC. One of her favorite moments while painting is watching the paints interact with each other. Spontaneous reactions occur and the media comes to life. Often times the movements of the media erases evidence of paintbrush strokes—the human hand involved. This removal of the human touch arouses a sense of mystery and ambiguity provoking one to think beyond one’s own human experience. Her hope is that her works can transport people to places beyond themselves. To remind one to pause, reflect, and remember why we live, what makes us feel alive. collection
