Get the Itch

Who would tell this adorable insect to buzz off? The iconic summer pest takes on an expected cuteness in this handcrafted copper homage by Catherine Murphy and her team of fellow artisans. Using a hammer, vise, anvil, and oxy-acetylene torch, they fold, forge, and anneal copper transforming it into a three-dimensional interpretation of a zany mosquito. Propped on an extra-tall garden stake, this hardly bothersome bug will be a welcome sight as it hovers over your yard or garden. Handmade in North Carolina.
