Swingin' Holiday
Let this fun-loving simian make a monkey of your holiday decor. It's always ready to play, whether that means swinging from the branches of your holiday spruce, or bringing a spirited touch to a wine bottle or holiday gift wrapping. Its black velvet body has a foam filling that gives it a squeezable feel. Tiny seed bead eyes accent the brown satin face and ears, and its feet are stitched with cotton embroidery thread. The other details are created with zardozi, a traditional Persian embroidery technique where tightly coiled wire is stitched to the fabric. Handmade by a group of artisans in Agra, India, who are part of a fair trade organization.
