Reel Love

There was nothing quite like creating a mix-tape. Each one represented a perfect collection of songs, arranged to commemorate a specific event, or to capture your feelings for the object of your admiration. Like a playlist filled with the unforgettable relics of yesteryear, this puzzle contains all the necessary elements to bring those dusty, mix-tape memories back out of the attic.

Take it solo, or share the experience with a friend, and piece by piece, you'll see an assembly of cassette tapes take shape right before your eyes! Frame the finished mix to display your accomplishment loud and proud, or rewind, take it apart, and tuck it away until the next rainy day beckons. A nostalgic and interactive work of art that's sure to enthrall and captivate music lovers and pro puzzlers alike. Original photograph recorded by Jim Golden. Made in Indiana.

JimGolden

Jim Golden is a photographer based in Portland, Oregon. He brings an artist’s eye and an enthusiast’s passion to his work, creating striking imagery that strives to capture the essence of his subjects. Rather than imposing a conventional standard of beauty, Jim accentuates what is unique about a subject and shares this special quality with the viewer.

Jim’s inspiration for his series of photographs of neatly arranged collections came after running into a friend who had an extensive collection of over 700 scissors. After photographing the scissors collection, Jim dove further into the world of unique and strange objects that are sources of obsession and fascination to collectors.
