Summer Afternoon
Take a sip of summer from glasses made from the bottom halves of bottles rescued before reaching the landfill. Each glass features a lovely etched scene of dragonflies, ladybugs and fresh-cut grass.
Made in Wisconsin of reclaimed transition glass bottles. Bottle manufacturers change color during production, in this case from flint (clear) to cobalt, by adding colorizing compounds until they have achieved the desired color. The intermediate batch is known as transition glass and is usually destined to be crushed, unless rescued for beautiful projects like this.
Each is one-of-a-kind and will vary.
