Rhode Island glass artist Laura Kramer has created just the right vessel for your loving message. Inspired by the romantic image of a message in a bottle, each of these hand blown glass features a heartfelt quotation etched onto its surface. Dedicated to a parent, sibling or friend, the bottles can be used as vases, or simply displayed as a reminder of your lasting relationship. Bottles are handmade from 20% recycled glass in Rhode Island.

Laura Kramer

Since the year 2000, Laura Kramer has been bringing her strong design expertise and anthropological curiosity to the wonderful world of glass. Her work has been widely recognized, even earning her a fellowship from the Rhode Island State Council for the Arts. Although working primarily out of Rhode Island, Kramer is an avid traveler, and takes much of her inspiration from her trips to Scandinavia, the Venetian island of Murano, and Kenya. With a deeply rooted love for the "translucent textile" (glass) and an esteem for the mythology and romance behind it, Kramer creates elegant, modern, and inventive glass items for everyday use and display.
