The memory quilt kit includes:

- Pre-cut pieces of caramel-colored minkee fabric (super-soft poly chenille blend)
- 1.5 yards of minkee fabric for the back
- Octagonal cutting template
- Fusi-knit interfacing
- Detailed directions

Not a seamstress? For an additional fee, you can send your T-shirt squares to a professional to create your quilt. Information and pre-addressed shipping envelope included in kit.

Mary Mertens

In June 2004, Mary Mertens spent her teaching bonus on a "Ferrari-esque sewing machine that would do everything but wash the dishes." She made blankets and pillows, which were a huge hit with friends and family, but, unfortunately, didn't stand out at the trade shows.
