For Good Measure

Blending form and function, this sleek ring lends a dapper touch, all while keeping handyman-worthy talents at your fingertips. Born from the common practice of measuring in hand and finger lengths, this stainless steel ring by David Sharp offers a more precise alternative, all while adding a handsome touch of style.

Multiple facets line the top of the design, denoting markers for 1/8", 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 1". Perfect for using around the home or workspace, this wearable tool ensures that all of your measurements for picture hanging, wood cutting, hem sewing and more will be based on actual math, not the length of your pinky. Made in Kingston, New York.

David Sharp

David Sharp learned the art of building from his mother. It started at the age of six, when she helped him turn the scraps from her building projects into little wooden boats. When he was twenty, the size of his projects got substantially bigger when he started building his very own workshop in a small clearing behind his parent’s house. David received his master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design. He is based in Providence, RI where the city’s industrial history and seemingly endless stream of creative people are a constant source of inspiration. He can often be spotted hanging around the awesome studios at the Steel Yard, a community industrial arts center in Providence’s west side. You might also spot him digging through their scrap dumpster, but he’s promised to stop bringing all that stuff home with him.
