Jacqueline Schmidt

Artist and designer Jacqueline Schmidt seamlessly blends the urban and natural worlds in all she creates. This ability was first shaped by childhood migrations between New York City, where she was born and raised, and her Catskills summer home. Later in life, after receiving a B.A. in visual arts and modern dance and an M.A. in Creative Arts Therapy, Jacqueline felt inspired to share her unique artistic sense with wider audiences. This took form in 2008, when she founded Screech Owl Design, a stationery and lifestyle product company. In addition to her commercial design work, Jacqueline's paintings and illustrations have been featured in galleries throughout the US. When not designing, making art or enjoying nature, she spends time at home with her husband, son Finn and cat. See all creations.
