Splash Of Color

To create the perfect cocktail, you have to draw inspiration from a broad flavor palette, much like an artist and their brushstrokes. Evoking the vibrant swatches of color from a painter's canvas, this glass set and carafe bring a touch of artistry to your tabletop. The natural splash of color is achieved through a unique movement during the hand-blown process, lending a one-of-a-kind look to this vibrant set. Handmade by Kira Heuer in Shanghai.

Kira Heuer

Growing up on the beach in Southern California, Kira created an immediate bond with the ocean. It was an article in her "nature loving" father's National Geographic "water issue" collection that led Kira to have a different perspective on water. As she read about these women water bearers, she grew a great hunger to understand the full spectrum of this resource in our world.

It was then that she decided that setting up a company using her own unique understanding of art and design would be her way of contributing to the cause. From environmental to cultural, she looks to design and art to be the voice to make an impact. Kira continues to create partnerships and collaborations within the art, design and environmental arenas. She is a patron and committee member to the Contemporary Art Society, Women in the Arts UK, The Tate and an ambassador of the Justice&Care Organization.

Looking for gorgeous glasses to add a pop of color to your table? These do the trick. (And there's a matching carafe!) Does this design have your vote?

Interesting. I'm not sure if I would purchase it myself but I can see it being a great gift for someone who likes to paint. Very colorful.

Vote: Thumbs down!

My only opposition to this set of glasses and carafe is the fact the glass is blown in Shanghai. There are plenty of artisan glass blowers in the Seattle/Tacoma region of Washington that could produce a superior product, that would be worth the extra cost, especially as I try to buy American first.

Like the design very much, but, once again, could be produced in USA...

Vote: Thumbs down!

Cute but not made in U.S.

I love the artistic, poured paint look of this set.

Crayons are for kids

Cute but I don't think I would buy it, for myself or as a gift.

Looks like a designer chemistry lab - not conducive to a gourmet atmosphere.

Vote: Thumbs down!

Ok what is this...... looks like something in chemistry class not for drinking. Not my thing at all

I love the color! What a great entertaining set!

Funky design. "handmade in Shanghai" sounds a lot better than "Made in China"

Price would help. This is pretty.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Pretty. Eye catching and the bright colors bring a smile but Chinese and I'm betting they will still cost a pretty penny.

I would love receiving this as a gift. I would love giving it also.
