Hop, Skip, and a Jump!

Relive the thrill of the past while staying firmly grounded in the present. Michael Gentilucci's modern take on the beloved children's game of hopscotch will delight hoppers, skippers, and jumpers young and old. Each stone is handcrafted out of weatherproof sealed concrete and reflects a different line of a traditional British rhyme about the magpie bird: "One for Sorrow, Two for Joy, Three for a Girl, Four for a Boy, Five for Silver, Six for Gold, Seven for a Secret Never to be Told, Eight for a Wish, Home for a Kiss!"

Place them in a playful path in your garden to wander, daydream, or hop depending on your mood. Handmade in California.

Michael Gentilucci

Michael was born in "Jersey" in 1968 and moved to SoCal in 1994. Both he and his wife Alisa share a common passion for traditional garden design and soon after they met they created Designer Stone. Since 2004 Michael has created 100's of original copyrighted clay sculptures. His designs have a spiritual reverberating quality; they are typically amusing, expressive, inspirational and/or interactive. They commonly possess a message, often written, sometimes implied and occasionally profound. It is the type of Garden Art which evokes a glimmering smile, it can remove life's pressures for a few precious moments and can remind us of who we are and what we live for. collection
