MAGNETIC NESTING UTENSILS - SET OF 5
$25.00
community voted (637 votes)
Organization by the Spoonful.
Take a stand against a disorganized kitchen, literally. Always conscious of the space restrictions imposed by modern urban living, Joseph Joseph created this attractive five-in-one set that takes up minimal space, even when it's permanently propped on your counter. The unique silicone set is held together by a magnet at top of each handle, allowing the ladle, pasta strainer and both solid and slotted spoons to be stacked together so that all five occupy the absolute minimum amount of space while staying within an arm's reach. Finally, you can prepare soups, stews, pastas and more, without causing a stir searching for right spoon. Made in China.
- Item ID: 21197
- Materials: polypropylene
- Standing: 3.5" L x 13" H
- Dishwasher Safe.
Recommended not to use with strong colorants such as turmeric which could stain the utensils.
Can withstand up to temperatures of 464* Fahrenheit.

Those old kitchen utensils hanging over your head are handy - but not necessarily dandy. These nesting utensils Erin found are both. Would you like these chic tools to roost in your kitchen?

Looks perfect for a compact kitchen!

I love the look of this and would consider buying for around $30 despite my next objection: the problem with things that stack compactly like this is that if you need any but the outer tool you have to separate out all the others. In the past, with similarly designed objects, I have found that ultra-annoying. I guess the trade-off is between annoyance versus optimized counter-space. Lower the price and I'd give it a try.
Kimmy
Vote: Thumbs up!
I like the idea but a bit expensive.

Another thing on the counter!

not for "real"cooks"
alena
Vote: Thumbs down!
it looks awesome but the price it too high and how efficient would it really be, you would have to sort thru them all the every time you needed one.
Britney
Vote: Thumbs down!
I agree with CMT, it's easier to open a drawer and pull out what you need with one hand, rather than try to separate the utensils to get the one in the middle.
Trish
Vote: Thumbs up!
I think these would look great sitting on the counter right next to the stove.
Megan

Seems very handy and aesthetically pleasing.

So cute and colorful! But very pricey... BPA free?
Cassie, UncommonGoods Community Moderator
Thanks for asking, Ciara. this product was designed by Joseph Joseph, and we're happy to say that all of the Joseph Joseph products we carry are BPA free!

I just don't think that all utensils will be in one place at the same time -
Sheena
Vote: Thumbs down!
Most people keep these utensils in a drawer, so seems pointless.
Megan
Vote: Thumbs down!
Too expensive, too cumbersome to grab utensil needed.
Melissa
Vote: Thumbs up!
These are so decorative and useful. There's only one thing wrong with them, the price.
Brooke
Vote: Thumbs up!
Great Idea, A little pricey but still neat.
Tarri
Vote: Thumbs up!
A bit expensive but a clever and color item.
cebette
Vote: Thumbs up!
Agree that the price seems too high. Great design though.
Danielle
Vote: Thumbs down!
These are cute, however they are very expensive for plastic utensils, and to use one you'd have to take them all apart.
Danielle
Vote: Thumbs up!
I'm always knocking down the cup I keep my kitchen things in, so this would save a ton of space and keep them together
Terri
I think it's a great design, but not at that price
Bekky
Vote: Thumbs down!
I think that they're too pricy.
Tara
I like it, but I wouldn't spend that much money on it
Renee
Vote: Thumbs up!
Adorable, and a great gift I would buy, but I was wondering if they have to stack in a specific way in order to fit in the ladle? That would be a pain to put back every time.
Evelyn
wish the price was a little lower. also, while these look nice standing up, I feel like they would fit in a drawer just as well and would stay together for easy access.
Karen
Vote: Thumbs up!
As long as they don't have to stack in any specific order then I love these! I've been looking for a set like this for a while!
Deb
Vote: Thumbs up!
I think this product is one of the best I've seen in a long time. My kitchen drawers are a mess and Magnetic Utensils would really help with the clutter.
Kim
Vote: Thumbs down!
not user friendly. Looks good but would be dificult to get the tool you need.
jennifer
Vote: Thumbs down!
The colors are bad and I don't like utensils on the counter.
Deborah
The nesting idea is a little backwards...the whole idea of kitchen utensils is that they are accessible, which I don't think these would be. Also, the colors are rather garish.
Jan
Vote: Thumbs down!
I agree with several others in that the price is too high, and although it looks cute, may not be so practical in actual use.

Doesn't look practical, not easy to use.
Becky
Vote: Thumbs down!
First of all, I don't like silicone and this looks like something made in China for the chic gourmet who has everything. Silicone can melt
Jenny
Vote: Thumbs down!
First issue is with price. I don't think these would sell for more than $30. Second issue is with colors. Would be better if came in shades of the same color - like blacks/grays, blues, reds. This is way to many colors for most kitchens. Great idea though if you can get the cost down.
Christine
Vote: Thumbs down!
Like previous comments, I don't want to have to sort through a stack of utensils. Also price way to high!
Crystal
Vote: Thumbs down!
Love the look and would probably buy at a lower price point.
Amy
Vote: Thumbs up!
a bit pricey though
Julienne
Vote: Thumbs down!
It looks great, but is it practical???? What if I need to use the bottom spoon, then all of the other utensils would just have to lay on the counter. And $50 seems like a bit much for silicone utensils.
Tricia
Vote: Thumbs down!
Too pricey and probably not very handy when you are trying to grab something with one hand. I do like the IDEA though. As some said, if it were around $20 I might try it.
Tara
Vote: Thumbs down!
Very cute idea and i'd definitely buy it, but NOT for 50 bucks. My bamboo set is environmentally friendly, has all these pieces and only cost $10. put it in the 12-15 dollar range and i'll snap up several as gifts!

I'd buy this item in a heartbeat! Love it!

When I need a utensil in the kitchen, I need it fast. This seems to be a bit of a hassle, though it is attractive- great colors!

I might want these more if they were $30.

So smart! I love that they are so compact and that they still are fun with all the colors!
Elena

Actually on the fence. I would buy it, but probably not for more than $35. But I think it would be hard to use these. I find I often am reaching for cooking utensils with one hand busy and in a hurry.

It's an interesting product but price is WAY too high.

Like the fact they occupy less space and are modern looking.
Julie
Vote: Thumbs down!
Great idea, but I wouldn't pay $50 for something like this, maybe $30 and that's a stretch - produce it locally and I might change my mind
Natalie
Vote: Thumbs down!
It's an interesting idea but once you use the utensil that holds the rest, you have no holder and you're back to the pile of utensils per usual until the purple one is washed and back in place.
Rebekah
Vote: Thumbs down!
If you want to use the purple scoop, how do the rest remain standing up?
Tara
Vote: Thumbs down!
Great idea but not sure I'd pay $50 for some silicone utensils!
Gwen

I hate having so many utensils in one drawer and these are stylish and would help me organize them. It's something I wouldn't mind having out on the countertop either.
Amy
Great idea.

Vote: Thumbs down!
This would be a pain to have to take the whole thing apart when you want a utensil that's not on top, boo...
Anya
Looks awesome -- and actually looks pretty easy to separate the tools as well. I could see wanting it and giving as a gift, but not for more than $30 or $35. Unless they come with jewelry, $50 is a LOT to spend on some very basic kitchen utensils!!

pricey and might not be for "real" cooks but for people like me who eat in occasionally, they are perfect but pricey
Tanya

I like the idea but not for the price. If it was cheaper I would consider it.
Kim
Vote: Thumbs down!
Would not want to display this on the counter and it looks like they would all need to be taken apart to use just one anyway. The price is also far too high. $10 per utensil is a bit much!
Shari

Would like other color combo options and it's too pricey, but I like the concept.

I don't know if I would pay $50 for this, but I really like the design and idea. This is excellent for tiny kitchens with limited drawer space. I would definitely buy... but only if on sale. I wouldn't be able to swallow the $50 price tag for kitchen utensils.
Karina
makes a good gift, despite the relatively high price

Too pricey and made in China are hurdles to big for the attractiveness to overcome.

Thanks for sharing your feedback, everyone! To answer a few questions, the purple stand is more than just a stand, it's also a ladle. The set will still stick together if you take one piece out, but if you're using the ladle, the pieces won't stand alone.

I'd buy them, but not for $50

Hello, Voters! It looks like we made a mistake pricing this item. The estimated price is really $25 (not$50, as we initially stated in our headline). Does knowing that the set is actually half the price change your vote?

Amanda
Vote: Thumbs down!
Kinda pricey and looks like it'd be a bit of a hassle to retrieve the utensil you want. A utensil crock is much more convenient and holds more, so I'd go with that if I'm going to take up counter space by having utensils out.
Lea
I dont like the idea of having them displayed on the counter. My counters are small and I need then in a drawer. Also have them attached with be bothersome to take it apart to get the one in the middle.
