Petals From Metals

Classically romantic flower petals are made modern in artist Beth Lawrence's refined rendition in gold filled or sterling silver. Three thin sheets of metal are hammered into suggestive, petal-like shapes and hung from a sterling silver chain, resulting in a piece that embodies femininity and sophistication. Whether it's worn with formal attire or an everyday ensemble, this stunning piece adds chic elegance to any outfit it accompanies. Handmade in Nashville, Tennessee.

Notes
The fundamentals of good jewelry care are: make sure it is the last thing you put on and the first thing you take off. Always store it out of the open air and keep it away from chemicals such as sunscreen, hairspray, perfume, etc. Clean your jewelry perodically with a polishing cloth to remove skin oils and to keep it shiny longer. Another good rule of thumb is to wash your jewelry with soap and water (and rinse and dry well) after a wild night of partying or just a hot day at the park. It is also not recommended to exercise in your handmade jewelry, as it can cause unnecessary stress on the piece, and the salt from sweat does not react well with the metals.

Beth Lawrence

Founded in 2006, Beth Lawrence's studio is located in Nashville, TN where she creates each piece of jewelry while her dog Zero sleeps nearby. A Nashville native, Beth has made jewelry since she can remember, and even sold her work to neighbors and boutiques while still in elementary school! After earning a BFA in Studio Art from Belmont University, she worked in art and craft galleries in Atlanta and Nashville before rekindling her passion for creating jewelry. Mainly drawing inspiration from geometry, she makes each piece with "love and a hammer," using sterling silver and gold-filled wire to create jewelry that is simple and delicately feminine. Beth travels extensively to promote her jewelry. However, Zero typically stays in the studio dreaming about squirrels and peanut butter. collection

Comments about LUCKY PETAL NECKLACES:

I had planned to keep it for myself, but it was a little short, so I ended up giving it to my 23 year old daughter in her Easter basket...She loved it and it fits her perfectly!

    Comments about LUCKY PETAL NECKLACES:

I really like this necklace. I was given a different Freshy and Zero necklace but I'm allergic to silver, this was a great alternative. Easy to just throw on and wear with whatever!

    Service and delivery comments:

The delivery and return/exchange process was terrible! Like REALLY bad! I sent in the original gift and specified that I was allergic to silver and that I was ordering Gold, and was sent the wrong necklace at first. It took over a month to finally get this product. I am happy to say that every time I called, people were so friendly that I didn't really mid that it took FOREVER to replace this necklace, but still, could have been much faster.

        Comments about LUCKY PETAL NECKLACES:

I liked the appearance of the necklace as the design is simple enough to wear everyday but also unique enough to not be "boring." However once I received it, it was bigger than I thought it would be. I would have preferred it smaller and more delicate so I could wear all the time/everyday. A picture displaying the necklace on a person or mannequin to give an idea of size would have been helpful. Although I liked this necklace I sent it back due it being a more "hefty" necklace than I was looking for.

This necklace is traditional yet quite abstract. How would you wear Lucky Petals?

I don't see petals when I look at it, just half-circles.

Love these necklaces! I would wear these with both dressy and casual outfits. I like that there is the option for both silver and gold as well...gold is back in!
