Is There a Doctor in the House?

It's what's inside that counts, and this adorable character proves it! Zipped inside Erwin's tummy, tiny surgeons will find six essential organs: lungs, heart, intestines, liver, spleen, and kidneys. All of the plush organs are color-coded, and children will have a blast identifying each one in the accompanying booklet and learning more about it's very important role in our bodies. Underneath it all, an embroidered posterior skeleton teaches kids about how our bones keep everything together. Smart and surprisingly sweet, this little patient is the perfect toy to pique the interest of your pre-pre-med student, and it can also help a brave kiddo get through a tough surgery. Made in China.

        Comments about UncommonGoods Little Patient:

It's difficult to find "fun" gifts for my daughter now that she's grown, but this brought the Christmas joy I'm always trying for! She's a 4th Year med student and loved the fact that the doll was atomically correct. I thought that as a pediatrician she might be able to use it with patients to explain how their bodies work.

My daughter who is fascinated by mummies and body parts loves this doll! She actually took it in for show and tell in kindergarten and all of the kids in class loved it too! Before purchasing it, I thought the price was a little high, but now I think it is money very well spent. It's a great and easy and fun way to learn about your 'insides'. Her 3 year old sister likes it too.

Gave this as a gift to 5 and 3 year children of a physician. We had great fun identifying body parts; laughing as the kids tried just stuffing everything back into the body. "Oops, you left out his heart", "need his intestines to go go potty"....etc.. The boys love Erwin and drag him all over the house.
