With this kid-safe kit by artists and art educators Shannon Ninburg and Bridget Daly, any child can learn about this lost art as he or she creates a one-of-a-kind masterpiece of their own. The process is simple and fun, and everything you need to explore this fascinating technique is included in the irresistible can. Just draw a picture on the wooden frame using the oil pastels, lay beeswax on top, and melt the wax in a warm oven. After the wax has cooled, you can also draw on top of it, creating a lovely layered look. You can also include collage elements (like pictures from magazines) to the bottom layer. The possibilities are endless, and the results are beautiful and unique. Hangers for the frame are even included so they are instantly ready to show off.

This kit teaches open-ended, authentic art techniques with no stencils or templates and contains enough materials to made two ready-to-hang art pieces.
