kozo pipe lampby David and Anati Shefa $350.00
- the story
Industrial hardware gets a light touch in this inventive, contemporary lamp. With a shape that hints at more traditional goose-neck lamps, this piece is crafted by hand from galvanized iron pipes and fittings. An adjustable joint near the base lets you raise and lower the level of the recessed halogen light, which turns on and off with a faucet-style, rotating switch. Four plastic feet protect your desktop surfaces from scratches. Galvanized iron is naturally rust-resistant, but a patina may form over time. Made in Israel with materials from Italy, China and Germany.

Anati and David bring raw materials directly from industrial sites to their workshop, based in Tel Aviv's industrial district. They take pride in using high-quality components, sourced from Israel and imported from Italy and China.
In their designs, they strive to give new meaning to the materials used. The couple promotes upcycling by shining a light on the interesting ways that these industrial materials can be transformed and reinvented.
