This is a very original idea, and the wood ring is beautiful. I'm worried the gold knocker would catch on something and come off. It also seems expensive for a novelty. How often does one use the expression "knock on wood?" Not sure it's frequent enough to warrant the purchase of a $75 ring.

Actually my thumb is halfway, neither really up or down. It is, of course, pretty much a masculine item, because few women would be able to manage the bulk on their fingers. The price is too high for something that appears to be less than durable. Knock the price down and you may get some buyers.

These rings are great! Very stylish and they look thin enough to wear comfortably. I am a woman and I've worn wooden rings, and they do not look masculine! (Unless you have man-hands to begin with). This is a great idea, but I do agree with others, it's overpriced.

I like the concept. The beeswax and linseed oil would help to make them water resistant. My concern is with the attachment of the doorknocker. I also think the design would be better if the doorknocker were in a vertical position.

Based on the picture alone, this deserves a thumbs down. But the story makes this bracelet. It's a cute idea, and great for those of us who are superstitious. It'll also make for a great conversation piece, should you decide to share "the little secret" behind it with others. I think the artist should incorporate different style knockers to add variety and the option of individual style to this line.
