I love the design of the bag & the embroidery seems well done, but the zipper installation wasn't well thought out. It broke the first time I carried the bag & there was no way to fix it. The strap is fine for wearing over one shoulder, but wasn't long enough to wear across, which is how I'd planned to wear it for travel. I wasn't expecting the wool to be so itchy, either. It would be a better bag for colder months of the year.

Service and delivery comments:

Excellent service! The delivery was prompt & the person I talked to in customer service was friendly, efficient and resolved the problem very quickly.

We love the bright colors, hand-embroidery, and bold floral pattern in this bag. We also love that it's handmade by women in a fair trade cooperative in Nepal. Check out the product story to learn more about the women behind this design, then tell us why you think it should be the next uncommon good.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Love it for same reasons as you guys. Great design, color choices, size... and great cause.

Vote: Thumbs up!

My only concern is that I've had a bag similar to this before, from a different country though, I just hope that zipper is more heavy-duty because too thin and flimsy of a zipper can ruin the whole thing.

I particularly like the strap design. It looks like it would fit snug on your shoulder and not slip.

Vote: Thumbs down!

I am not tempted.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Unique handle design.

This is so beautiful! Would love to give as a gift or even receive one myself. I very much support the whole fair trade idea.

Vote: Thumbs up!

I do like this bag. But, I venture to guess that it's price point would be above what I would be willing to pay.

Vote: Thumbs up!

Attractive and "in" today. I like the look and the size is perfect.

Vote: Thumbs up!

A lovely, well made item. My kudos to the women of Nepal. However, I am about as weary of "Fair Trade" marketing as I am of "green" marketing.

Not a very attractive purse

A true return to hand-crafted beauty!

Love the story...not the product
