From designing rooms to dressing them, interior designer Denise Fiedler's attraction to the art of collage began when she stumbled upon a box of vintage books and newsprint in her attic. These ephemeral fragments of literature proved inspirational for Denise, who decided to transform her attic's forgotten library into art.
Denise carefully carves shapely silhouettes from the yellowing pages of vintage and antique papers and she then assembles the cutouts into harmonious pastiches that deftly capture the unmistakable forms of popular instruments. These delightful depictions of musicians' number-one noisemakers are bound to capture the hearts and speak to the passions music and literature lovers alike. Handmade in San Francisco, California.
