instrumental lighting - trumpets
- the story
Wait, don't play taps for that retired trumpet yet! Jamie Cornett breathes new life into well-used instruments by turning them into bright and brassy lamps. After this horn played its last notes, the artist fixed each piece in its own base and a shade featuring sheet music. Sure to make the musician, music teacher or music lover's heart trill with delight, this quirky piece of home decor gives this instrument a standing ovation. Handmade in New York City using an upcycled trumpet, maple wood base, lamp wiring, and lamp shade.
