Tree Trunk

The Laotian artisans who create these elephant carvings say they find a pachyderm inside every tree and free them with their tools. Hand carved from kiln-dried teak, each one is unique in shape, size, and rustic personality. Place it as a patient sentry for your entryway, or use it as a small side table for a touch of safari style. Handmade in Laos.

Due to the recycled and handmade nature of this item, each is unique and will vary.

Comments about UncommonGoods Horton the Elephant Side Table:

I would give 5 stars if you are using it on the same level as the door it came into your -- but we are having the devil of a time getting it up a tall flight of stairs. It is heavy but also a bit ungainly without using a dolly or something like it. It is really lovely sculpture on its own, and its truly useful as a table or even footstool/cocktail table in front of a couch.

Thrilled with this product. My daughter-in-law has a "thing" for elephants. With an upcoming wedding in October, this beautifully carved elephant made the perfect wedding gift!

Comments about UncommonGoods Horton the Elephant Side Table:

This table is great, very sturdy, perfect for an elephant lover! The only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5 for me was that the carving on ours is considerably "clunkier" than the one pictured. Still cute though
