Holidays Every Day
The holiday season carries special meaning for so many people, but all too quickly the time flies past. Artist Stephen Kitras captures that festive magic in a more permanent form by creating these ethereal glass globes, containing impossibly slender green stems leading up to floral splashes of holiday color.
Poinsettia plants originated in Mexico, and are specially adapted to the winter - their bright red "petals" are actually colored leaves surrounding tiny yellow flowers.
Holly once symbolized truth in British heraldry, and its spiky evergreen leaves and crimson berries brought color to many a winter celebration.
Each hand-blown ball has a sturdy loop at the top for hanging. Whether displayed in a window, or outside in a garden, these blossoms will be a shining reminder of your kind thoughts all year round.
