Jewel of the East
Add an exotic splash of color to your wardrobe with this jewel-toned belt from the Far East. The vibrant, embroidered Heli fabrics--coverings for the traditional Japanese Tatami floor mats--are factory surpluses which would otherwise have been discarded. The shimmering reclaimed polyester or polypropylene material is fused to a backing of durable polyester webbing, and finished with stainless steel hardware. The roller-style belt is adjustable and fits most sizes. Handmade in the UK using fabric collected in Japan and hardware from Germany.
Due to the reclaimed nature of this material the pattern will vary. Color will remain consistent.

It's the belt closure style that's getting to me. Nice belt otherwise, but I would never pay 50 bucks for something that everyone else is going to think cost 5.

Way to expensive. If this is made from surplus, it is just extra material that was going to be thrown away. I would never pay $45.00 for a slip of trash. I can get doormats from my local goodwill for $5.00 and make several.
