Comments about HEART AND ARROW LARIAT:

I really love the look of the necklace. I was not under the impression it would be shiny so I was not disappointed. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because it does tend to come undone easily and I would just hate to lose it. Uncommon goods was also amazing in the process. We paid for expedited shipping and it was two days late, they refunded the fees with no hesitation! Definitely going to buy from here again.

Comments about HEART AND ARROW LARIAT:

I gave this to my teenaged daughter for Christmas. I thought it was kinda pricey, but I thought it would be a shinier, prettier silver - so I splurged. It's kinda dull for sterling silver, it doesn't look like silver...it just looks like metal (if that makes sense). It's a dull gray. She's worn it everyday, though. We are finding that it's a little longer than we'd like. She has taken to wrapping the arrow around several more times than the two times recommended in the instructions... just to try and raise the arrow up above the neckline of her shirt. We also found, when we only wrapped it twice, it came undone fairly easily.

Congrats to Deb Soromenho on becoming a semi-finalist in our Jewelry Design Challenge! Does this sterling silver necklace have a place in your heart?

This is ADORABLE, and the name makes it that much cooler! Looks very well made, and price is more than reasonable for being sterling silver. I'd buy!

I know how far down I want to let the arrow fall from the heart...

Like it, but 1) the "arrow" looks like an anchor, they need to fix the tail of the arrow to look like feathers, and 2) it's probably worth it at half the price you want to charge. But it looks like it is sending a message of a heavy heart :-(

Love this!! Now I have the song running through my head and want to play it so maybe it can get unstuck. I would so wear this but would prefer a cheaper price.

This seems generic, but maybe someone would wear it

I love it! I love the fact that it doesn't look all "perfect" and that the arrow doesn't look exactly like an arrow - that's what makes it unique and handcrafted! I'd say the price is perfect for sterling silver.

i like it but it is overpriced I think

I own a lariat style necklace and find it the easiest to put on for daily wear. This one seems to be fun and with a classic design of heart and arrow.

      Susan
      Vote: Thumbs up!

I love it. And considering it's handmade by an artisan with sterling silver instead of factory made in China with a lesser metal, I say it's worth the price.

I think for the price, it looks cheap. The design is a GREAT idea, but it needs to be modified if it's going to be sold at that price. I agree with the others that the arrow looks like an anchor, and the heart just doesn't look very nice.

The "arrow" looks like a ship's anchor, mostly because of the horizontal bar at the top of the arrow. Also, the price is too high. But I really love the idea of this necklace.

Hi all! --Thank you for all your votes and comments! I totally respect differing tastes and point of views. --I did want to point out though that the arrow has been redesigned since this photo was taken. I realized that it was a little "anchor" looking and the new arrow is much more "arrow" looking, if you know what I mean, lol. Here's a photo of the new design: http://tinyurl.com/3mx6okx

I like this! And actually, I really like the arrow in the photo -- it speaks to me as "love anchoring" and grounding. I like the new arrow design, too. As for price...it seems right on target to me. Sterling silver is so expensive right now. Plus, this is artisan hand forged, handmade. No contest compared to factory-made silver-plated drek!

As the owner of herfavouritethings, i would never be able to sell this. 10 out f 10 for the idea, 0 out of 10 for the execution. The heart is wonkey, the arrow looks like an anchor. i'd say take the idea back to the drawing board.

Beautiful! You gotta appreciate the creativity and craftsmanship that goes into a piece like this. I don't know about any one else but for me, an inspired design like this means so much more than some 'cookie cutter' creation. If price is the determining factor in your jewelery selections, may I suggest www.walmart.com!!!

I don't like the arrow, it looks too much like an anchor, which doesn't send the message I'd want to send. The concept is good, though.

Hi everyone, This is Deb, the designer. --I just wanted to point out that the arrow has been redesigned since this photo was taken. (I mistakenly sent in an older photo). The arrow has been redesigned since then and is much more "arrow" looking! -- Also the heart is only 1" tall, it's deceiving because it's on a small bust display! Thanks! :)

      Elizabeth

Doesn't appeal to me, it seems faddish, and more for teens than adults. a lso too expensive. Agree that the arrow needs feathers.
