I had to take a double take to figure out what we had here at first. But I do think kids would love it. I can certainly picture kids having a grand time building sand castles at the beach. It could go on vacation with the family and kids could use it most anywhere. Kids can be very creative,and I think it would get their creative juices going.

It's a cute idea, but the sleeve part doesn't look practical for use in snow. It doesn't appear to fit over sleeves (the boy in the photo has his sleeves pushed up above the top). Wouldn't work well with a heavier parka.

I can see a dozen ways for this to wrong ... things get shoved into fingernails (esp at beach), they don't fit and I hear constant whining about how they're falling off, etc. What's wrong with the old fashioned bucket and shovel? Some things really don't need improvement.

Great idea for kids but would love to see one for adults in a more subatantial material for gardening. I have arthritis in my hands and I think this would be great to use instead of my trowel which is hard to hold sometimes. But this does look like something my grandkids would enjoy for the sand, especially the younger ones.
