Hued Hors D'oeuvres

You don't need to look to the end of the rainbow to find treasure when you serve bite-sized snacks on Dylan and Amy Engler's gorgeous glass tray that is a fully functioning art piece. The husband-and-wife team kiln-form each cheerful piece with bold bands of colored glass fused to a black background. The delicate, colored lines are evenly spaced and meticulously incorporated into the contrasting dark space, resulting in a work that is stark, polished, and eye-catching. To finish, the tray is sandblasted in order to give it added smoothness and the corners a soft contour. Handmade in Columbus, Ohio.

This serving tray is more than just a functional dish, it's also an elegant art piece. We love the vibrant pattern of this kiln-formed sandblasted tray from Dylan and Amy Engler. We're also fans of its multipurpose potential, since it looks just as great loaded with snacks as it does as a catch-all on an accent table. Does this colorful dish have your vote?

I wouldn't buy it, just isn't me, but it is nice!

Nice, sleek design. I don't see a price point, so can't comment on that. The fact that it is glass causes me a little concern - I am sure to break it. But, I still like it.

Looks well-crafted. I like that the color bands are fused glass and not just painted on top. Just not my style either for me or as a gift.

I like it but I wouldn't buy it. It's a bit too modern for my style.

It is a nice piece of art, but not my style. It looks very 70's.

I love rainbow serving sets, but this seems bland. The black background takes away from and mutes the colors. I wouldnt buy this.

Beautiful!!! At first I thought it was melamine - when I read the description, I was amazed. I like the thought of the colored glass being fused to the black. Very unique!

There is no care instructions in the product story, so I have to assume it's not to be used in the dishwasher, which means I won't be using it as a serving peice. And for an art piece, it's not my style.
