Molten Magic

Formed in the glowing heat of a furnace, these art glass pendant lights glow like liquid magic. Glass artist Jamie Harris has refined his craft through extensive study, and highlights the sense of motion created by the interplay of light and glass, and his work can be seen in museums across the country. The distinctive, flowing form of these mesmerizing pendants seems to bend and reflect the light that shines from the classic "Edison"-style bulb inside, bringing light and wonder to any room. These hanging jewels are available in alabaster, amber, turquoise blue, or brown glass with brushed nickel fixtures. Choose one, or create a grouping with several, and bring the light and vision of an extraordinary American artist into your home. Handmade in Brooklyn, New York.Sold individually.

Glass artist Jamie Harris' present work is a culmination of years studying at some of the most prestigious glass schools in the country and with some of the most renowned glass artists in the world. Harris graduated from Brown University before pursuing his career as an artist. His sculptural work is characterized by its painterly quality, and his designs are featured in galleries and stores worldwide.

Harris currently lives in New York City and loves being surrounded by talented glass artists and a network of other artisans. Much of his work comes from a team effort and he says his continuing exploration of glass technique comes from interaction with his students. "The progression of my work has been a direct outgrowth of working with students to tackle difficult areas of glass technique," Harris says.
